Splishin' & Splashin'

Jonathan and I had an awesome time today at the water park with Mr. Edison. This was Edison's first encounter with a spray park and he wasn't quite sure what to make of it at first. After Jonathan walked him around a bit to get the lay of the land, Edison became more comfortable and really started exploring.

It was a hot day, so it didn't take long in the sun to crave the cool refreshing water of the fountains. Once Edison warmed up... the cold water wasn't so cold anymore and he really enjoyed walking in the water and playing with the fountains.

We were sitting on the grass beside the water park and so once Edison was comfortable, he'd walk out to the fountains and play for a bit, then come back to us, then go out again. Back and forth he went, many, many times. I think he also enjoyed seeing all the other kids playing in the water.

He also seemed to have a attachment to his little green rake today. So everywhere he went at the water park, the rake was in-hand.

It was a very fun day, and a great way to cool down. I'm sure this will be the first of many visits to a water park this summer!
